From old tires to new materials

Recycling old tires is a process in which the old tires are converted into a new material. Shredding and processing creates materials such as rubber granules that can be reused in a variety of applications, from rubber products to construction and sports materials. This not only helps reduce waste, but also enables the sustainable use of valuable resources and reduces the ecological footprint.

    Reprocessing

Processing used tires, be they car tires, truck tires or other rubber tires, is a crucial step in the recycling process. Pre-sorting or compacting into bales only marks the beginning of this process.

    Shredding

The more crucial step is shredding or tearing up the old tires, which creates a new material/raw material. This is often further processed in pyrolysis plants in order to optimize its properties or to further refine the raw material.

    This is recycling

    for Germany and the world!

Waste tire recycling is a multi-faceted process that offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for the disposal of used tires while recovering valuable raw materials. This process goes through several important steps, starting with the collection and sorting of used tires. Scrap tires are collected from a variety of sources, including auto repair shops, tire dealers, and recycling centers. In this step, the tires are sorted according to type and condition to prepare them for the actual recycling process. This is a crucial step in the recycling process. The used tires are shredded and crushed to turn them into smaller pieces or rubber granules. These granules can be reused in a variety of applications. After shredding, materials are separated, including rubber, steel and textiles. These materials are then cleaned to remove contaminants. Some recycling plants use pyrolysis to convert used tires into oil, gas and coal.

These products can be used as raw materials in various industries, including the chemical industry. The recycled rubber can be reused in a variety of products, including rubber compounds for making new tires, rubber mats, playground surfaces, sports field pads and much more. The reused materials help reduce the need for new raw materials and minimize the ecological footprint. At every stage of the waste tire recycling process, the quality of the recycled materials is monitored and ensured to ensure that they meet applicable standards. Recycling old tires is an important contribution to sustainability and environmental protection. It reduces waste, conserves natural resources and reduces the environmental impact of producing new tires. At the same time, it offers diverse opportunities for reuse in various industries, resulting in efficient use of resources and responsible waste management. Resources can only be recycled with responsibility and joint action.

    For our planet!

    Container & Bund

As a specialist company for the proper and professional recycling of tires, including car tires, motorcycle tires, tractor tires, bicycle tires and more, we are your competent contact not only in Germany but also internationally. Our process includes not only sorting the tires, but also dismantling them into individual components. These are either pressed into bales weighing 550 to 750 kilograms or processed into tire shreds in our shredder machine. These shreds are used in industry or can be further processed in pyrolysis plants to recover the valuable raw material rubber. This approach not only protects the environment, but can also be more cost-effective because it is less chemically complex than recovering rubber.
